Having been a follower of fashion hair and beauty, all of my life, and having studied hairdressing at college, it was inevitable that I would follow one of these paths.
An opportunity to pursue hairdressing as a career presented itself in early 2008, after a successful period of working in the retail industry in London and here in Exeter, so I leapt at the chance.
Hairdressing is not just a job for me. It is a passion. My focus always is on ensuring a first class client experience which is evident from the high praise and feedback, both my team and myself receive regularly.
Having a happy and motivated team around me has been key to maintaining the success of nv as a brand, and a destination for the many services and treatments we offer including Japanese straightening, for which I am a specialist in the south-west…..I love straightening the world one head at a time!
I love what I do, and I love making clients happy, this extends to the ambience in the salon, the contemporary decor and cheerful nature of the team.

We’re NV Studio, now proudly settled in our beautiful new home at 33 Southernhay East (Lower Ground basement ), Exeter City Centre, EX1 1NX. Our stylish studio is open five days a week, with exclusive late-night appointments every Wednesday from 4-8 by appointment– the perfect mix of luxury, flexibility, and creativity.
At NV Studio, we’re known for delivering bespoke hair artistry – from precision cuts and tailored colours to the transformative Yuko permanent straightening treatment. Every appointment is designed with expertise, passion, and luxury care.
Now, we’re looking for a couple of talented, self-employed stylist to join our team.
